Hello! I’m Kelly
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
If you are looking for a therapist, check out the links to my online teletherapy private practices below to see if I would be a good fit for you.
I provide teletherapy to clients in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho.
In addition to providing therapy to clients, I am also a counselor educator. I teach undergraduate and graduate classes in family dynamics and family systems theories at Virginia Commonwealth University. I also teach graduate classes in human sexuality at Antioch University Los Angeles.
I am a third-year doctoral student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am involved in a qualitative research project examining how athlete identity and religious identity influence the mental health, perfectionism, body image, and performance of Elite Mormon athletes. I am also involved in studying middle-aged former collegiate athletes. I am investigating how athlete identity affects exercise quantity, body appreciation, and psychological flourishing in middle-aged former collegiate athletes.
I currently serve as the president of the Mormon Mental Health Association. Our mission at MMHA is to help clinicians provide culturally competent care to clients who have a Mormon background, or belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am available for speaking engagements on a wide array of topics. Feel free to reach out to connect with me!
